Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Super Balls- A Comparison

I love the Sony Bravia commercial that features the superballs. I know that its been out forever, but it doesn’t play in Canada. The only way I can watch it is on the internet. I watch it ALL the time. I was thinking this morning about why I love it so much. Here is what I came up with:
I love love love the music played by Jose Gonzalez (I consider it a tragedy that I didnt get to see him, when he was last in Vancouver, but his set started way too late).
I think its a great use of dogs and frogs.
San Francisco is a really pretty city, almost as nice as Vancouver.
It really makes me think about how the production team pulled this off. Amazing!!!!
Most importantly its a great representation of my life with CFS. After a summer of great highs and lows with energy, I feel at one with these superballs. I know exactly what its like to soar, only to experience a standstill a few moments later.
I recommend that we make this commercial the official theme of CFS. I have found nothing else that even comes close to representing how I feel….Sony Bravia has done just that, with this production.
A warning to those who haven’t seen it yet, this commercial even after at least 100 viewings still makes me cry.
or if you want to know more go here

Wow, I hadn’t seen this before. Incredible music and production. I don’t supposed you have the lyrics to the song?
yes i do, and i emailed them to you.
I think it’s a bit sad that while the balls are going through bounces up and down, they are generally travelling in an overall downhill direction.
That said, I like the ad too, we get it here in Australia, it’s pretty. I want to go to San Fran sometime. And I want to see Vancouver sometime too! I have been there, but I didn’t make it out of the airport *sigh*, such a waste.
Oh I didnt really think how the downward direction of the superballs related to CFS. Good catch!!! I still love it though.
Hmmm you want to come to Vancouver, I want to go to Australia….maybe we should arrange an exchange
While YVR is not a bad airport…it just doesnt compare to the city of Vancouver.
oh by the way, i should thank the person who first introduced me to this commercial, and the song Heartbeats. many many many many months ago.
Thanks Tony.
not that you read this blog…but the thanks is out there, anyway.
