If you’re near the University of California, San Diego, are living with chronic pain, and are interested in participating in a study, I have some information for you.
A little while ago, I joined the Chronic Pain Assistance Yahoo group and I noticed an interesting posting today from Dr Paul D. McGeoch. He wrote:
We have a study on-going looking at several new non-invasive procedures as
potential treatments for Central Pain at the University of California, San Diego. This is a research study so there is no cost to participate and is being supervised by the neurologist Professor VS Ramachandran. (http://psy.ucsd.edu/chip/ramabio.html)
We are happy to see patients with Central Pain of any cause. If you would like
more information then please email me: pmcgeoch at psy.ucsd.edu
I don’t know anything about it, but I thought it was worth passing along in case there were interested people.
If you do contact them, could you leave a comment and let us know how it is?
