Chronicles of Narnia Spring to Life

Or sort of… In case you’ve been wondering, like me, why there seems to be renewed interest in the Chronicles of Narnia, I may finally have an answer for you: pop ups.

Yep, hot on the heels of the Star Wars Pop-Up, which spent weeks atop the best sellers list, pop-ups of the Chronicles have hit the shelves. Each of C. S. Lewis’s seven Narnia books has a spread in The Chronicles of Narnia Pop-Up.

Robert Sabuda is responsible for the gorgeous cut-outs/pop ups and Matthew Armstrong illustrates the remainder. I am not a huge Narnia fan but even I am struck by the aesthetics of the book. Just beautiful.
