I have a 6 week old that tends not to sleep any longer than 3 hours at night.

Normally we use white noise, but hearing about Bill's success, I tried the classical music last night, and it just seemed to keep him up. Because as soon as I turned it off, he calmed right down.

Bill, how loud were you playing the music?

We've had both music and sound machines in the kids' rooms. The music tends to keep them awake.

We've had better luck with a simple sound machine that plays the sound of rain. Just steady rain, no thunder or croaking frogs (I never understood why some of these machines have THAT on there).
