CNN article: Fibromyalgia: Little understood, often frustrating

I know many people with fibromyalgia like to see what news is “out there” in terms of educating others about their misunderstood disease.

CNN has this Health Minute article, Fibromyalgia: Little understood, often frustrating.

What do you think about the article?

I’ve always liked CNN medical reports. I thought this was informative and interesting. I can almost hear Anderson Cooper’s voice doing a special on fibromyalgia!

Now that you mention it – so can I!

  3. Kathy says:

As someone with fibromyalgia for over 10 years, I read this article with interest. However, I disagree with the doctor’s suggestion that it is caused, in part, from a lack of exercise. Until about a year before I was diagnosed, I was a very active individual. Post-diagnosis, I gradually returned to exercise and I now work out at least 2 days a week, hike, snowshoe, walk, bike etc.
