However, I disagree with the doctor's suggestion that it is caused, in part, from a lack of exercise. Until about a year before I was diagnosed, I was a very active individual. Post-diagnosis, I gradually returned to exercise and I now work out at least 2 days a week, hike, snowshoe, walk, bike etc. As someone with fibromyalgia for over 10 years, I read this article with interest.
