Color and Design Can be a Trigger for Migraine and Epilepsy

You know how sometimes you know something but you don’t really think about it?  Well, I know that colors and movement can trigger both migraines and seizure activity in some people but I never really thought about it.

Until yesterday.

  1. We run into it a lot because my husband and I suffer from migraines and our oldest has seizures. Yellow and orange on black backgrounds are evil, as are anything with a high flicker rate.
