No. I am not talking about machines that are powered by the sun and they would be working as soldiers so that humans would not need do that duty. What I am talking about here are solar soldiers. Yes, soldiers that would be making use of the power of the sun.
These solar soldiers would be using uniforms which have been embedded with solar panels. Now those panels would be absorbing the energy of the sun and then converting it into usable energy. Now that energy would not be sent to the grid. Instead, the energy would be used to give life to batteries which would be used on the soldiers’ radios, laptops, phones, and other gadgets.
Such solar soldiers are a current project that is backed by the Defence Force. The panels that are used by the soldiers have been developed by a group of experts from the Australian National University.
