Comparing Prices before Purchasing

What’s your shopping habit? Do you compare prices from different stores before making a purchase? I do. I also look at relevant review sites (if available) for a product (especially a technology gadget) before making a purchase.
What I’d want to have is for a site that can compare prices pulling in information from various stores. One site in New Zealand I found really effective is the PriceMe site.

About Price Me
We hope your visit to PriceMe.co.nz for your pre-purchase research will save you both time and money. You’ll find up-to-the-minute price information plus reviews and ratings on over 300,000 products with nearly 200 retailers throughout New Zealand.
Just enter the product you’re looking for, click search and you’ll be able to view a list of retailers who sell that item with their prices displayed. When you find a great deal, just click through to the retailer’s website and purchase directly from them online or shop in their store with confidence, knowing more about their products and prices.
When you’re on the go or in-store, check out PriceMe’s mobile price comparison direct to your mobile phone at m.priceme.co.nz.
This is not a promotional post. I am writing this about this site because I find it really effective. I use it all the time. Hope you find it useful too!

Thanks for the site. I just bought a microwave oven and went to about five sites before finding enough reviews to make a good choice. This might save time.
