The b5media Business Channel is running a contest this month on What You Want(ed) to Be When You Grow Up. Not once did I think, “I want to be a blogger!”
BUT … I did dream of being in big business, carrying a briefcase to a corporate office!
LOL — was blogging even a word then? I had never heard of it until college or maybe later!
Growing up – now that’s a concept I had hoped to avoid… but since you asked:
I wanted to be a Veterinarian. Now that I have grown up a bit … I want to be a woman who can make a living playing with words.
I wanted to be bus driver like my Dad in NYC. He drove the city bus for over 20 years and retired with a good pension. Had we stayed in NYC and not moved to VA when i was 14 it probably would have happened.
Okay… I have another dream… just figured I’d say it too.
I want to be able to be a good example to others. But sometimes I think that is more then just a dream.
