Conversion Method for Black and White Photos

Do you like black and white photos? I do but each time I convert an image I took with my digital camera from colour to black and white, it looks too dark. I must admit, I haven’t played with my editing software much but here’s a tip from Tara Whitney on her own conversion method for black and white photos.
