Ever walk in a Kitchen Store and wonder what, exactly, some of those gadgets do? I know I will pick up a colorful silicone item in the shape of a tomato and wonder What the bleep does this do?
Generally I’m either being a tourist in a cute boutiquey kind of town or I’m shopping for my mother or grandmother.
Sometimes to get ideas for the cooks who have everything, I’ll hop on over to Cooking Gadgets to find out what little gadget is all the rage.
It’s like graduate school for kitchen gadgets. You can probably learn to live without all of them, but some of them are pretty cool.
I don’t know if it’s my feminine DNA or my housekeeping training, but I actually want everything I see on Cooking Gadgets, though I don’t like to spend much time in the kitchen.
Do I need a Silgranit Sink, Microwave Toaster, Kohler Karbon Articulating Faucet, Me Feed Me toddler dish, or a Space Invaders Cutting Board?
No. But for some reason I want them anyway. Go figure.
