Cooking With the Sun

To cook something, we need heat. We sure could use LPG to fire up our food and cook ‘em just the way we want them to be. But with the sun’s power seemingly in overdrive nowadays, why not make use of that?
So I headed out to the Internet to do my research on what gadgets are the best solar cookers. I did find out from Treehugger. Here’s their list:
- SOS Sport: a box cooker holding two pots. Made from recycled soda bottles.
- KSol: a solar kitchen which is available in Europe. Uses something like the TV antenna and uses that to send solar heat and power to its center where you can put in your food and let it cook.
- Sun Cook Solar Oven: “the sustainable replacement for backyard barbecue” according to its creator.
- SOUL: that stands for Sun | Oven | Ultra | Light
- BCKSolar: it’s from Argentina and it can be used to cook various food from rice to pasta to soup to eggs to water.
