Corduroy is Back!

Did you have a lovey? I know that I did. He was a pink bear and his name was Cuddles. In fact, I still have a lovey. Right now it is a lamb that I stole from the Easter box because he was so soft. For years it was a brown bear that I purchased at Walgreens because Cole (the garbage disposal of a black lab) ate Cuddles. I believe that Cuddles was about 20 years old.

I was heartbroken.

Many kids, however, have enjoyed the company of Corduroy, the nations cherished bear. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Corduroy and to bring the loveable character to life once again, Applause™ from Russ, has partnered with the Penguin Young Readers Group to create a line of adorable products to introduce Corduroy, in his signature green overalls, to a new generation of youngsters.
