Corn Dog Maker

 I have been thinking a lot about Corn Dogs for some reason.  It may be because it is the summer.  It may be because there are a lot of carnivals and fairs this time of year and a lot of food shows about carnival and fair food.  I just know, I like corn dogs.

Alton Brown has a recipe for them and there are few other corn dog recipes on the Food Network Site.  It seemed worth trying, but it isn’t quite the same as those that you get at the fair.  So, I discovered this, a Corn Dog Maker.  You can find them new or used at Amazon and I even found it on-line at Walmart.  It has a fun design and you can use it as a regular fryer as well.  It can cook up to 6 corn dogs at a time and it comes with a traditional recipe, corn dog rack and fryer basket.
