Well, honestly, all things considered, if we get someone to take The Boy, we have sex. LOL! Other than that, we like to go to sporting events (talking or not), dinner (we love good food!), and golf (we suck, but have fun). :)

I'm excited to find your site. I recently started a blog called heavenlyhubbies.com that you and your readers might find interesting. I invite you to check it out!

About your post, my hubby and I also value activities that don't drown out conversation (movies, loud restaurants, etc.). After all, what's the point in getting together if you can't converse? I love to play hostess and we both love to cook, so I enjoy inviting couples over for dinner or coffee/dessert and playing board games, particularly any games that prompt you to be silly. Some of our favorites are Balderdash and a French game called Mille Bournes. I value any game that makes everyone laugh! For less roudiness, we like Phase 10 or Mexican Train. This kind of activity is not only good for interaction and laughter, but also gives people a chance to show hospitality, share good food, coffee, recipes, etc. Also, because we're dog lovers (and own a sweet Labrador), we enjoy getting together with other couples who own dogs at nearby parks. We can visit while playing around with our dogs. The best thing about these activities is they're virtually free!

Pool (or billiards, if you prefer).

Walking in the park is another nice one.

If you live close to a navigable stream or creek, a tubing, canoeing or kayaking day trip can be fun, too.
