crazy quilt Christmas cards

I figured I really should get busy and make my Christmas cards!  I don’t think I’ll make these embroidered crazy quilt cards for everyone on my list, but a special few people may get them :-)

I’ll post step-by-step instructions tomorrow.  It’s actually a lot simpler than it looks – I just used straight or blanket stitch, with a few french knots tossed in for good measure.  There is cotton fabric, lace, ribbon & a yo-yo (okay, and a few buttons too)… and of course, the thread to sew it together :-)   I used a piece of card stock to make the card, but most major craft stores have plain pre-scored cards.
