Create a Font from your own handwriting

Wanna see your own handwriting printed on paper from the computer. It is possible by using Fontifier. The programme lets you create your handwriting typeface just like regular fonts/typeface such as Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman etc.

Won’t that be cool? No more fear of making mistakes if you do your journaling* directly on paper. With Fontifier, you can edit and change in your word processor or graphics programme BEFORE hitting that print button.

For more info, go to Fontifier for instructions.

I have not personally tried this but if you do, do let me know. I’m actually tempted. Previewing your font is free but you have to pay $9 to download it.
Definition of Term:
*Journaling – Journaling refers to text on a scrapbook page providing details, stories or background about the photographs. Journaling can be done in many ways — your own handwriting, through the use of alphabet stickers, rub-ons, computer print out, stencils, etc. It is one of the most important elements of a scrapbook layout.

Note: I have used my own handwriting to journal the text on the above layout and boy was I so scared to make a mistake or worse, ran out of space for what I wanted to say!

Christine, thanks so much for this info! I’ve been wanting my own personal font for so long, but the only ads/links I’ve found offer this service for $120 and up, which made me balk. I’ll let you know if this works for me!

I just tried the sample for the font… you have to kinda of be a little aware of how you fill out the form, otherwise you get handwriting that looks like a crazy person got a hold of a pen…

BTW, is somebody up there Filipino? I’m just NUTS over a man in a BARONG! :)

    hi Madley!

Thanks for the feedback! Great to hear. Yes, that man in the barong is Filipino and he’s my Dad :-)

Barongs are so cool eh! Maybe I should show you my husband in a barong — he’s sooooo handsome in it! tee hee!
