Creating a Lone Star Quilt

July 26, 2007 by Mary Emma Allen

The Lone Star Quilt is a beautiful pattern but looks so difficult to make with it’s many intricate pieces.

You’ll discover many variations of this old time quilt and a number of ways to make it.  At Quilted Paradise, there are explicit instructions for piecing the Lone Star Quilt , thus creating a fabulous family heirloom .

I’ve searched for months for a pattern for a king size Lone Star Quilt pattern to buy. I want to do it in shades of purple and Lavender. Can you help me?

  2. Becky Buxton says:

If you have not yet found a good pattern, look for the book Radiant Star Quilt by Eleanor Burns.
You can make any size inany color from this book.
