Creating Your Very Own Tastebook

I have been looking for ways to better organize some of my recipes. I am an addict of sorts.  I love cookbooks and I am always downloading recipes.  I have created a few notebooks for things like party recipes and Christmas time food, but I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do with a pile of recipes I have taking over an entire bookshelf.  I had a New Year’s Resolution to fix this…you could probably predict how that has been going.  I think that I may have discovered the answer.

Tastebook is a website that allows you to create your own cookbooks.  It gives you the ability to download recipes from a variety or websites including Allrecipes, Food Network and Epicurious which has recipes from Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines.  You can choose from a variety of pictures they offer or download your own.  This would also be a great way to create a family cookbook.

The creation is free.  You are just paying for the printing and shipping.  Prices begin at $19.95.  You can even start out with a cookbook that has already started for you.  For example, editors from Epicurious created The Best of the Farmer’s Market which consists of 50 recipes from their site and then you can download another 50 of your own.  The book is bound so that you can take pages out and add pages in the future.

Try Tastebook and let us know what you create.
