Crucial lesson learned #1

January 29, 2008 by Bill

I learned a crucial lesson this morning with my son: never hold a freshly fed baby while wearing work clothes. He was smiley and happy so I expected nothing. I was enjoying a few fleeting moments with him before I ran out the door to the office, but before I knew it he plastered my pressed shirt with a coating of partially digested breast milk.

I was running late quickly considered letting it dry and throwing on a sweater over it, but that moment passed and I went and grabbed a new shirt.

Lesson learned.
