Crucial lesson learned #1, sub-part A
The other day that I learned the lesson that I should be weary of holding my baby in the morning while dressed for work. I learned this the hard way by having him decorate my shirt with breast milk when I was already five minutes late.
An ever vigilant teacher, he taught me a new lesson today. My wife met me for lunch and we stopped at Starbucks where we met with a friend and former coworker. After talking for a while and getting ready to leave, my little boy proceeded to decimate a completely innocent pair of khakis. I am safe at no point while around him, which warrants further definition to crucial lesson #1.
I am appending the following as subpart A:
At no point while wearing work or dress clothing am I safe from the heat-seeking projectile milk of my child.
Lesson more well learned and expounded upon.

Yuck. I’ve been lucky recently to only end up with a little drool. There’s nothing worse than warm milk soaking through a shirt.
FYI, you should check your link to crucial lesson #1. It is currently linking to your wp-admin to try and let us edit the post.
Mike,
Yeah, when that warm milk hits your skin it’s just nasty.
Thanks for the catch on the link!
Bill
I’ve learned the same lesson through the years. No kids when I wear my suit. I leave home before the kids wake up and when getting home I first put on some sweatpants before even getting close to the kids.
