Custom Made Journals

July 27, 2006 by Heather Goldsmith

Thanks to Olivia Brown, who commented on my blog the other day, for sharing the information about her custom made journals. Lesley Herger of Comfortable Shoes Studio makes custom journals to your specifications. Although you can probably contact her through her Comfortable Shoes Studio Blog, here’s the link to her Etsy store and also on Ebay if you’d like to have a journal created for you.

If you create similar journals, please contact me and I’ll mention you on this blog, too. You’ll need some kind of web contact for me to write about you, though. If you know anyone who does, please share also.

  1. Olivia Brown says:

I wanted to comment that although my journal was huge (400 pages), totally custom (from the leather, to the string for binding, to the paper), and expensive (and worth it), Leslie also makes relatively inexpensive custom and stock journals.

If every little detail about the journal isn’t important to you, or if you just see one on her site you like, you can save money and purchase a less expensive but comparably enjoyable journal. It can be so gratifying to have such a beautiful place to write.

  2. Thanks for that Olivia. From her website,a nd blog, I could see Lesley is an artist through and through. ;-)
