Have you noticed the sweet reclaimed Scrabble tile pendants available at places like Etsy?
I like the idea, but I’m wondering how the makers are laying hands on the old Scrabble tiles. There must be a secret used Scrabble tile store out there. Perhaps eBay?
I particularly adore this owl pendant from Etsy seller littlebluebirdstudios, but it looks like it’s sold out.
Have you ever made Scrabble tile pendants? Do you like the idea?

I look for scrabble games in all the thrift stores and they are difficult to find there too. Unless someone is getting to them before me.
They are fun to use in many kinds of art projects. Mosaic and scrapbooking.
Hi Tess. Maybe garage/estate sales are a good place to look as well. I haven’t seen any in thrift shops either.
Thanks for visiting, and feel free to send any photos of your junk creations.
I found them at Michaels Arts & Crafts – with the scrapbooking items. They are not true Scrabble tiles from the games, but wood blocks with the letters on them to resemble authentic tiles – and if I am correct right at the same size as a scrabble tile. Hope this helps
Kimberly, so that’s where to find them in a pinch. Thanks. Some of the makers say they’re using “reclaimed” tiles though. I guess it’s a mix.
I really like this scrabble tile movement! Really cute! I’ll stick to my watch part pieces though
I love reclaiming objects and giving them a new life!
Michelle, hello. I like the Scrabble tile movement too, but I haven’t bought one yet. Your watch face rings are nice!
Hi Peggy…I sell the scrabble tiles to crafters here:

I purchase them at thrift stores and garage sales but, yes, they are hard to come by. Even now my supply is dwindling…
