Cutting Boards from Trees that Chose to Fall

July 9, 2008 by Peggy Rowland

If you’re going to have a wooden cutting board, wouldn’t you rather have one that’s guilt-free?

I spotted fallen-cutting-boards.jpgthese cute reclaimed tree slices on Plenty magazine’s blog post, Making the Rounds.

The serving trays/cutting boards available at Show are made from fallen hardwood trees in Minnesota. They fell for whatever reason, but they weren’t cut down. The boards are sealed, food safe and resistant to moisture.

Go to Show to view the line of cherry, ash and maple boards. $36
