Cycling across the country to raise diabetes awareness

A 65 year old retired construction worker has travelled 8,000 miles on his bike, in an effort to raise diabetes awareness. Ernest Neupert’s wife suffers from type 2 diabetes and he himself is a cancer survivor. Five years ago, he had undertaken a similar trip to raise cancer awareness. He averages 50 miles a day and together with the cancer awareness trip, he says he will have visited 48 states. If you want to donate, you can send your contributions to:
