thank you for your work
My Doctor started me on Cymbalta 60mg twice daily. It has made an unbelievable differece for me. My bedtime dose helps me sleep like a baby. The morning dose gives me much more energy and less pain than I have had in 10+ years. I thank him every visit for recommending Cymbalta!
sounds like you have found something that works for you. congratulations on that. its great when one is able to live life the way that they are used to living.
i hope everyone with a chronic illness is able to find something that works for them. let it be in whichever form they are most comfortable with.
that is really great news about the Cymbalta. Its good to know that it works for some.
i asked my dr about cymbalta, she says almost all anti-dep. are alike they just went through the extra tests and research to prove it and advertise the pain relief.so ive started taking wellbutrin sr 150mg 2x a day and xanax 1mg at night…we just started this about a month ago and i dont know if its really working. the xanax helps of course but i dont take it during the day so what do i do for all that pain?????? we may try gabapenton later on if nothings really working… is she right about them all being pretty much the same.
Hi Jessica,
I don’t know a whole lot about antidepressents. At the moment, I am working with alternative therapies. I did take a few different meds when I was first diagnosed though, and truthfully they didnt work for me. Although I didnt find them to be at all similar. Some would help with the sleep, but cause big hangovers the next morning, others would get me all hepped up, and I would crash a few hours later, and still others would make me so completely ill-that I just wouldnt be able to function at all.
We addressed the pain, with mild exercise and physiotherapy.
Now, acupuncture really helps me with whatever pain arises and with managing my illness. Its not for everyone, but for me its been fantastic.
Alicia,
I am glad to hear something is working for you.
