Damn I Feel Good!

So exercise? It’s going very well, thank you very much! I actually have to give most of the credit to our new puppy, Carter. He’s the one keeping me motivated to go for a nice long walk at least once a day – sometimes more.
I have to tell you, I feel great. One of the things I love about walking is that it’s so …head clearing. After a good walk I have ideas for blog topics, problems worked out and my whole day planned – and all this before 8:00 AM. If I want to listen to music I can do that, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
What I love best is how I feel when I come home. I start my morning on such a positive note as I accomplished so many different tasks. I took the dog out for some exercise, got some of my own exercise, planned my day, brainstormed some blog projects …and more.
I think when I feel like this, the rest will be easy. Oh and you know what I found? Veggie chips 100 calorie packs! I love veggie chips and seeing them in a 100 calorie pack – with a decent sized bag to boot – is like the icing on the cake.

Congrats on the puppy. Not only are you doing your pet-guardianship duty, getting exercise, but you’re also creating a great bond between you and your Puppy! Socializing puppies at a young age helps them be better adult dogs!
I look forward to next week when my Husband and I move into his family’s Farm House complete with a Chihuahua / Dachshund and an over-sized Greyhound. Both are excellent walking companions.
I like the 100 calorie pack granola bars. They’re smaller than the others, but have less calories and more fiber (check the labels). Portion control and delicious. Try them out Deb.
