…and I’m in a bad mood! It was nice to have her around this summer, especially when we kicked it off by traveling to Italy to “pick her up” from her semester abroad. This will be her senior year; she’ll finish up her art major and math minor, and will try to decide what she wants to do next. She’s very interested in special effects prop designing and construction. So maybe she’ll be off to LA.
Boy, won’t I be in a really bad mood then? 
I am sooo there with you! My daughter is a senior at college too, and I was very sad when she left in the middle of August. I don’t even want to think about where she will be after she graduates.
It’s not that we’re not happy for them, just sad for ourselves
