Dating with an Age Gap

Miley Cyrus is allegedly dating a 22-year-old backup dancer. The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star is pictured hugging and kissing the dancer, known as Marshall, in a new set of pictures that have surfaced online.

Perhaps seven years age difference isn’t quite that big of a deal – WHEN YOU’RE 30!

There’s just nothing right about a 22-year-old dating or wanting to date a early teen child.

What do you think about age difference?  At what age does “age” stop being such a big deal?  When is it ok to date someone 10 years your junior?

I’ve personally found it hard to date anyone over 5 years younger then myself, but that’s just me.

I could date someone older, now that I’m 33. When I was 18, I had women in my church trying to set me up with their sons and grandsons. I guess it was because I didn’t dress slutty or try to attract bad attention. They wanted someone wholesome for their children. hahah Anyway, one time someone tried to set me up with a 28 year old and I was 18. I told them that was just too much of an age difference for me.

I have a friend that was 33 and she was married to a man that was about 23-25 years older than her. He wasn’t a young 56 year old either. He had smoked since he was 11 and he looked so old. People often thought he was her dad. The marriage only lasted about 8 years and I thought it was kind of a gross difference.

Sorry to ramble. I guess it just depends on the person. I do think a 15 year old has NO BUSINESS dating a 22 year old. :sigh: I had hoped her parents would know better and I really hope she doesn’t end up like Jamie Spears.
