The Definition of Good & Evil

I found another journal writing prompt on Creativity Portal today about defining goodness. This is an excellent prompt, because each of us would define goodness in a slightly different way. Although there may be similarities about what goodness is, I would suggest defining evilness as well, to balance the exercise.

Once you’ve spent time writing what you feel each of these words mean also write in your journal how these words are used by yourself, by the popular culture, the media, etc. Which of these words do you feel more comfortable ascribing to yourself and why? Are you actually a mix of the two? Spend some time on this part of the writing prompt in particular.
