Dementia Patients and Voting

vote.gifI have to confess, I have never thought about this, as my parents don’t (didn’t) have dementia, but, if there were such a thing as a blog standing ovation, I’d give one to Carol Bradley Bursack for her article, Should Dementia Patients Vote?

    What an interesting subject! But I guess that dementia patients are governed by the same rules that govern the mentally ill, the mentally retarded or just plain irresponsible people who vote without doing the least bit of research on any of the candidates.
