Desert Tomato Update

The tomatoes that we planted in March are finally starting to become fully ripe!

This beauty is the same little one we discovered nearly a month ago after weeks of patiently waiting. We’re going to give it another couple of days before we pick it.

You can see how much further along this one is compared to the rest on the same branch!

We’ve also got another one that needs a few more days:

I hate that we can’t remember what variety these are, but I think they’re Early Girl. The cherry tomatoes in the other pot I think are Sweet 100’s.

Linette is also growing tomatoes this season — check out all the ones she’s trying! I can’t wait to see how her crop turns out.

So, who says you can’t grow tomatoes in the desert?
