Diabetic medications affect our health and economy

Saturday, Sanofi-Aventis (SNY: News, Chart, Quote ), a provider of healthcare products worldwide, said its new injectable diabetes compound AVE0010, a GLP-1 agonist, was well tolerated and significantly improved glycemic control compared to placebo in type 2 diabetes patients inadequately controlled with metformin alone.

This was interesting to me. I actually found this among RTTNews- Global Financial Newswires. Not only is it great information regarding type 2 diabetes but the article ended by showing how the stock ended that day.

Medications can be so powerful… they even affect the economy.
