A Brazilian woman with diabetes has given birth to a 14-pound baby girl. The infant is so large that her feet reach over the edge of her crib.

Elisa Maia dos Ribeiro, 36, already has three sons who were large at birth (over nine pounds), but none came close to the birth weight of Isabel Vitoria, who is in good health and went home a few days after her birth.

Doctors say it is fairly common for women with diabetes to give birth to large babies. So ladies, if you are still on the fence about whether or not you should change your diet and exercise habits to reduce the risk of developing diabetes, do yourself a favor. Go to your local grocery store, find a 14 pound turkey in the meat department, and imagine it passing, well, I don’t have to paint that picture for you. You get the idea.

Fourteen pounds. Man oh man.
