Diary of a Married Bachelor – Day 1

6:00 PM – Arrive home from work. A bit later than normal, but it was unavoidable. Too many things to try and wrap up before vacation. What’s that you ask? “Married bachelor?” “Vacation?” Am I going on a road trip with the guys? Nope, I’m playing Mr. Mom and sending Kerri on a road trip with her girlfriend. Apparently she’s excited to be leaving. 
6:30 PM – Kerri is off. I’m on my own with the kids… for five whole days! Ask me your questions, Bridgekeeper, I’m not afraid! Though that arguing in the background is getting annoying. Someone should probably see what those two boys are fighting about.
7:00 PM – Bath time! Three kids, two genders, and lots of bubbles. That’s kill an hour.
8:00 PM – The kids are settled in the basement watching a movie, so I’m grabbing some dinner. Almost forgot about that.
10:30 PM – Party on, Wayne! Party on, Garth! It’s a mad night of partying going down in the hizzle fo’ shizzle! We must have had two… maybe three beers between us! Axis and Allies is da bomb, yo! Wait… what’s that… bummer. One dude had to leave because his daughter’s puking, and he – like me – has vomit duty in his household. Looks like it’ll be an early night. 
10:45 PM – Dude’s back! Vomit is taken care of and the Allies are back in business. W00t!
11:00 PM – Bummer… Dude’s daughter is puking again. I guess it will be an early night after all.
12:00 AM – Game’s all cleaned up. Knowing it was going to be an early end, I gambled with the US and tried to take out the Japanese fleet early. The dice gods were not with me. I didn’t really want to win, anyway.
1:30 AM – Wait… what time do the kids wake up again? :-0 Holy moly! I better get to bed!
