I was pleased to read how author Jeff Kinney used life experience, and his own journal writing, as inspiration for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Kinney began with just Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Thanks for introducing me to the Wimpy Kid diary series! I agree, it is SO important to help kids (and adults!) learn to journal, and whatever it takes is fine with me! It’s been a life saving process for me over the years, and my grandmother before me! All my best!

thes books are awsome i have the 1st one and the 2nd one and i have the do it yourself book and i bought it at the book fair at my school today! and im in 5th grade
