I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest new diet beverage. I was pretty disappointed with the new Vanilla Coke Zero, so I was hoping that Diet Hansen’s Tangerine Green Tea soda would do the trick. I spotted this in my local Target yesterday and had to try it!
After trying a terrible stevia-sweetened green tea soda from a health food store (only to find out it also had sugar in it), and more recently Coco-Cola’s Enviga, I’ve been searching for a green tea soda that’s refreshing and sweet, but doesn’t overload you with caffeine. Diet Hansen’s is just that.

The Taste
Diet Hansen’s has a crisp, tangy and sweet tangerine taste, although you can still taste the green tea underneath. It’s not bitter in the slightest. It’s pretty highly carbonated, if you like that sort of thing, which I do…but if you don’t, just let it sit after opening it for a moment.

The Nutrition
There are zero calories in this beverage, and it’s sweetened with sucralose. It also has 35 mg of EGCG, the compound in green tea that is said to boost metabolism (always a plus).

Look for it in any Target store or health food store!
