Make Art Monday

You know how you can go along, being perfectly happy with what you’ve got, and then you see something better? Suddenly, the old perfectly good thing looks shabby and unsatisfactory.

Well, I’ve experienced that a lot since I got the Photoshop upgrade last fall. I was pretty satisfied with my old Channel Mixer method of creating black and whites. It sure beat the heck out of the plain old desaturate command, after all! But now that I’ve used the new Black and White adjustment layer, there’s simply no going back!

    Hi Cyndi,
    I like the composition.

Thank you, Maria. I’m a big fan of barbed wire for some reason LOL! It’s not the world’s most exciting shot, but it has some good features to show what the new B&W conversion method in Photoshop can do. I’ll be going over all that tomorrow :-)
