Digital Cameras Handy for Quilters

I see my daughter using her digital camera more and more in her quilting activities. No, she hasn’t developed a way quilt with it! But it’s so handy for taking photos of her work…for her own records, to post on her Meandering Treads blog, to post on other blogs, to send to groups for quilt and block exchanges, to take photos of scenery and natural objects the out-of-doors for quilting inspiration.
She has found, for best results when taking her photos, she needs to use a tripod. Otherwise there often is some blurring, or lack of focus, of the image. Tonight she was photographing a small hanging she’s entering in a quilt exchange one of her online groups is conducting.
Since I’ve not learned all the intricacies of the digital camera, I often have her take photos for me, like the one at Artist Hideout of my fabric postcard.
