Director John Hughes Dead at 59

It seems we’ve had a rash of Hollywood folks passing away far too young. Here’s another talented man that went too soon: John Hughes. He died today while taking a walk in New York. He was there to visit family, and went out in the morning for a stroll when he suffered a fatal heart attack.
If you’re my age, you know every one of his movies: The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixtenn Candles, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. No other information is available at this time. One thing is certain, he will be missed.
