DIY Refrigerator Magnets

Sometimes you buy a product just for its cute packaging. Go ahead, admit it.

Windell Oskay at Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories has come up with a great reuse for candy boxes or other small packaging.

Find out how to turn your boxes into deceptive refrigerator magnets that feel and sound like the real thing. The only problem I see with this is that I’d get hungry every time I saw the magnet, but if I’m near the refrigerator, chances are I’m about to eat anyway.

What candy box would you use for this? I’d have to go with Junior Mints.

I LOVE this idea. Fun, colorful and really yummy coming up with the boxes :) Best of both worlds.

Glad you like it Gayla. Yes, it’s yummy coming up with the boxes!

Well, the little boxes are a nightmare – so this is a nice use. Good for after Halloween. I hate junior mints so I’d go with lard? Just kidding – I don’t use lard, plus, that’s a big box. Those little sugar daddy boxes are cute. Oh, you know we buy tic tacs sometimes, maybe this would work.
