DNA Child Identification Kits

November 24, 2005 by Lei

Fingerprints and photos may not be enough to identify missing children. In Albert Lea, Minnesota, the police are encouraging parents to include DNA kits. Parents should prepare the following in case of child abduction:

  • DNA swabs either using GenetiKid DNA Kits or homemade ones kept in the freezer.
  • A copy of the child’s fingerprints
  • A hair including the root
  • A current photo, ideally no more than one month old

May you and your family never have any need for these items.

    Liz, You’re so sweet! We just stuffed ourselves on an unexpected Thanksgiving feast here in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Hope you have a lovely day/long weekend too!

    Hello;

    I am interested in these child dna test kits for home use and child identification. How is your market for the sale of these kits? I can help your marketing if you will drop ship. Please let me know by e-mail if you are interested and then I will call you to set up the arrangement.

    Thank you

As I’ve mentioned before, police now encourage parents to always keep a sample of the child’s DNA, fingerprints, hair including the root, and a current picture.
