Do you “Dream in Green”?

I’m always excited when I find a new “eco-friendly” fiber art product! I’m going to make things anyhow, so why not use a product that’s better for the environment?
Today’s new an interesting product is a quilt batting created entirely from pop bottles, “Dream Green“:

A king-size piece of Dream Green batting uses up 28 2 litre pop bottles – not bad! It’s advertised as having the same hand and features of standard batting – just with less environmental impact.
Did you know that pop bottles are used for other fiber projects as well? Polar fleece can be made from recycled bottles and you can even buy “Eco-Spun” yarn.
So next time you’re feeling crafty – think “green” too!
