Do you have diabetes? Do you smoke?

If you answered yes to both those questions, you are at higher risk of developing diabetic neuropathy.
A study examining the incidence of diabetic neuropathy among people with diabetes who smoked was presented at the annual conference of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. The study findings showed that 62% of the patients how had diabetic neuropathy were smokers.
If you need another reason to quit, could this be it?
