If so, I’ve got good news for you. It’s Baby Week over at Discovery and here are a couple of episodes that I think Womb Within visitors may enjoy watching:

DELIVER ME: Episode, Now or Never
Premieres Tuesday, June 10 at 8 PM ET/PT
Complex pregnancies and high-risk births—these are worries for many parents-to-be, but they are everyday occurrences for Drs. Alane Park, Yvonne Bohn and Allison Hill.  Discovery Health’s new docu-series, DELIVER ME, follows the careers and lives of these three dynamic women—best friends who became partners in a demanding Los Angeles OB/GYN practice.  In this episode, cancer survivor Terri Harrah approaches her due date, but when the large size of her baby makes a natural delivery risky, Alane has to decide between inducing a pre-term labor or proceeding to Caesarian section. Meanwhile, Claudia Lima is about to become a mother for the third time – sixteen years after her most recent child – but a bleeding scare lands her in the hospital, putting her life, and the pregnancy, in jeopardy. And doctor becomes patient when Kay May Kwok, a resident training in OB/GYN, prepares to join Yvonne, Alane, and Allison in the unique society of moms who deliver babies.

AMAZING BIRTHS: Episode 2
Airs Thursday, June 12 at 8 PM ET/PT
Amazing Births is a thrilling, fast-paced one-hour program that introduces us to remarkable mothers from around the world – mothers who never made it to hospital — mothers compelled to give birth without medical help, in extreme situations. Their incredible stories are brought to life through dramatic re-enactments, actual 911 telephone recordings, intimate first hand interviews, and real-life home video footage. In this episode, meet a woman who went into labor during the worst ice storm in 50 years.  Then, a Girl Scout who performed the ultimate deed and helped her mother deliver her baby.  Finally, follow a lady whose car was turned into a roadside delivery room.
