Do You Take Your Kids Out on Halloween Night?

Halloween: Customs, Recipes & SpellsThat’s the question in this month’s poll. Be sure to let us know. When Jamie and Brittany were little, their Dad took the out and I stayed home to hand out the treats. Poor guy, it was usually freezing, but the kids didn’t even notice. I guess it’s hard to get excited about Halloween. He grew up in England and didn’t celebrate Halloween. They had Guy Fawks Night or Bonfire Night instead. He still talks about how much fun it was and the special treats that they enjoyed. Bonfire cuisine is second to none. I just wish it wasn’t so cold over here in November or we would celebrate that holiday too!

But, my mind is beginning to wander. The whole point of this post is to let you know about this month’s poll! It’s just to the right.

No, Our twin boys are 7.5 and our youngest boy is 3.5.. they have NEVER gone out on Halloween to trick or treat.. we just have some friends over for a few hours for a party and thats about all Halloween entails for our family… no bag fulls of candy, just plain FUN and GAMES
