Don’t Spit at Your Interview, and Other Things Not to Do

A few years back, I worked right next to an HR Department. I got to see a LOT of crazy interviewees come and go! You wouldn’t think so, but I saw people take their shoes off in interviews, arrive late, dress sloppy, chew gum… you name it. One man even passed gas several times throughout an interview and stunk up the room. The HR people ran out to get air freshener… it was that bad.
Obviously, doing things like that probably isn’t going to help you when it comes to getting the job. Here are 6 more things you shouldn’t do when searcing for a job. Many of these are common sense. But things like spitting on your interviewer? That’s just crazy! I’ve never done something like that in an interview. Have you?
