Don’t Squat to Urinate

A recent survey by Cystex urinary tablets revealed that 70% of women have walked out of a public restroom without using it because it was “dirty.”

But Dr. Elizabeth Kavaler, a urologist and author of The Essential Guide to Urinary Tract Problems in Women, says that squatting over a toilet isn’t a good idea.
It may prevent the complete emptying of the bladder, leading to an infection, particularly among women prone to urinary tract infections. Since your pelvic muscles are contracted during a squat, your ability to empty your bladder completely is diminished compared to urinating in a sitting position.
Dr. Kavaler advises that if there’s no toilet seat cover available, simply line the seat with tissue paper and sit.

This is one of the many reasons women should always have a P-Mate on hand! The P-Mate is a disposable cardboard device that allows a woman to discreetly stand up and neatly pee like a man. Eliminates dropping your drawers to use unsanitary port-a-potties and public restrooms. Why take a risky squat in a field? When men find themselves without bathroom facilities, they merely turn their backs for privacy. Now this can be true for women too. Women deserve the discretion, hygiene and dignity that the P-Mate provides. Check it out!
Forgot to mention they can be found in the US at pmateusa dot com or in the UK at pmate dot co dot uk
Karen, Hmm. You can’t really use the P-Mate in a crowded city though. Plus, disposing of it seems a little ick. Just being honest.
