DragonFly Sun Catchers
It seems that arts and crafts have become a little more high tech than I remember. We simply used crayons to create our “sun catchers”, but I think the kids will like this even more.
And did you know… “There are more than 2,500 different types of dragonflies. These insects have a long, hard body with two narrow pairs of wings. Damselflies are often mistaken for dragonflies, although they rest with their wings against their bodies. Dragonflies rest with their wings spread out flat.”
It’s amazing what you can learn by visiting sites for kids. This one just happens to be Crayola!
